Feuerwache & Atelier für gegenseitiges Interesse
The old fire station will be transformed into a festival center with a lively atmosphere, designed by the award-winning trio of architects raumlaborberlin, lfm2 and la reléve. Here, visitors can discuss all the burning questions: What does East mean? What is specific, what is international? What can we learn for the future from the upheavals of the past? With an attached water slide and pool, an oasis is also being created here where you can refresh yourself and then continue your discussions with a cool head.
While the slide closes at 7 p.m. when the exhibition ends, the bar and other areas only get really lively afterwards. In the ATELIER FÜR GEGENSEITIGES INTERESSE and at the water basin, we invite you to dance, exchange ideas or talk until 10 pm.
Works by artists Jan Caspers, Sven Gatter, Anke Heelemann, Dima Levitskyi, Maryna Makarenko, Martin Maleschka, Viviana Medina, Angela González and Matthias Luthardt, Oscar Olivo and Amy Trompetter, Alison Shea, spector books, Tobias Zielony and students from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle will be shown in the festival center Feuerwache.
