DIGITAL.REBELS

The art education duo Edugrapes invites young people from the Bitterfeld-Wolfen region to experiment with digital media and apps such as TikTok and Instagram.

What does Bitterfeld-Wolfen look like through a digital lens? Accompanied by the cultural mediation duo Edugrapes, consisting of Natalia Peña and Christopher Utpadel, young people aged 12 to 16 are developing videos, animations and performances in which they explore Bitterfeld-Wolfen. They explore not only the past, but also the future of the town and the region. Their own perspectives, personal stories and transcultural influences, whether with or without a migration background, play an important role, and the interactive works that the young people develop will be shown at the festival and later at the LOFFT theater in Leipzig.
