BURGeducationBOX 03 WOLFEN

Studierende der Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle (Kunstpädagogik)

How can history be conveyed in public spaces? Students from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle invite you to find out on walks to former industrial sites in Wolfen. They have tasks and ideas in their luggage that encourage discovery, exchange and reflection.

With their self-conceived and produced BURGeducationBOX 03 WOLFEN,students of the art education courses at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle invite you to take a walk around the former industrial site: from the Wolfen Industrial and Film Museum to the town hall to the former cinema, or, in a longer walk, also across the site where the photo service provider ORWO and the SOEX sorting and recycling plant for textiles are located today. Impulses and concrete tasks for the specific locations on the site encourage discovery, exchange and reflection.

An art education research seminar led by Prof. Dr. Sara Burkhardt.

In cooperation with Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle
