Accessability

Unfortunately, our festival is not barrier-free. This means that it is not equally accessible for everyone. Here we provide tips to make the festival more accessible. We want to name barriers, make them recognizable and remove them more and more in the future. We will be happy to help you personally to find your way through the festival. If you have any questions about the accessibility of the venues and events, please contact the Infopoint or besuch@osten-festival.de in advance.

Trigger warning
Trigger warnings are often used to alert the audience to triggers that can provoke a re-experience of a traumatic event. The term, which originates from psychology, covers very different experiences that can provoke equally different reactions.

Festival OSTEN refrains from providing its events with trigger warnings.
We strive to write the program texts in such a way that visitors can assess what to expect.
