The allotment garden site “Am Rodelberg” is located directly on the connecting road between Wolfen and Wolfen-Nord. At the end of the 1970s, the 2.6-hectare site was allocated to a local family and four other allotment gardeners. An allotment garden association with 63 gardens and now over 100 members was soon established on what used to be marshland.

The site owes its name to the nearby mountain, which is still used for tobogganing in winter. In 1987, the allotment garden site’s restaurant was also inaugurated, where private parties and association celebrations are held.

In plot 29, theater maker Ron Rosenberg, together with gardeners and those who would like to become gardeners, has designed a GENERATIONENGARTEN, which invites you to discover and linger on June 2.
