The Köthen Bach Festival pays tribute to the life and work of the composer Johann Sebastian Bach, who spent six years here. During the biennial festival, his works are presented in historical performance practice as well as in contemporary concert formats and contemporary experiments. The next Köthen Bach Festival will take place from August 28 to September 4, 2022.
