GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig

The GRASSI Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig is a cooperation partner of the ‘Cultures of the Curatorial’ course at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig for the project ERFRISCHUNGSRAUM 2. The festival project will result in a presentation that will be on display at the GRASSI at the end of 2022.

The GRASSI Museum of Ethnology in Leipzig is one of the largest ethnological museums in Germany. As part of the REINVENTING GRASSI.SKD project, funded by the Federal Cultural Foundation’s “Initiative for Ethnological Collections”, the museum is currently undergoing extensive redesign. A network museum is being created in which different voices have their say and different locations are linked together.
