AbRAUM

Four teenagers founded the punk band AbRAUM in 1988 amidst the dreariness of concrete housing estates and film factories. In their songs, they described environmental destruction (SILBERSEE), life as a teenager (RADAUBRÜDER), violence and growing up in their district of Wolfen-Nord. Several tapes were released, one song made it onto DT 64, another onto an ex-GDR punk sampler. The band broke up in 1991, but has been performing sporadically again since 2016 and released the LP GLYPHOSAT DES OSTENS.
