How did the workers at the film factory in Wolfen use the material they produced themselves? What did they capture on film? The artist Axel Töpfer has viewed original footage from the film circle around Alfred Dorn and invites you to watch it with him.

Together with the audience, Axel Töpfer traces the camera movements of amateur filmmakers from Bitterfeld and Wolfen, searches for role models, motifs, teaching points and blank spaces and embarks on a photographic journey through Wolfen, Bitterfeld and the surrounding area. Clips from internationally award-winning documentary films and lesser-known shots will be shown.
