Galerie am Ratswall

In 2022, during the festival period, the Galerie am Ratswall will open after extensive refurbishment with an exhibition of visual art, music and literature from the Bitterfeld Trail, for which a rich accompanying program is planned. Together with the ‘Gottfried Kirchhoff’ music school, the Galerie am Ratswall forms the ‘Music Gallery on the Goitzsche’.

The Musikgalerie an der Goitzsche, formerly Galerie am Ratswall, is an education, exhibition and communication center sponsored by the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld (founded in 1990). Located in the center of Bitterfeld, close to the Goitzsche, it shows exhibitions of contemporary visual art and is also dedicated to the themes of the Bitterfeld Way and landscape art in the Goitzsche. The cultural offerings of the house include concerts, readings, lectures and workshops.
