The association “Frauen helfen Frauen” (“Women help women”) runs the women’s shelter and women’s center in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Founded in 1990, it actively supports the interests of women and girls, regardless of age, ethnic origin, nationality, sexual orientation and religion.
