The Christophorushaus, which is now run by the Protestant parish of Bobbau-Wolfen-Nord, is located in the prefabricated housing estate of Wolfen-Nord, which used to have 34,000 inhabitants and now has around 7,000. The community and family center is also home to a Protestant daycare center and the youth migration service (both run by the Diakonie). It offers space for educational and leisure initiatives and is a contact point for church and non-church groups from the entire region. The Christophorushaus is a recognized family center of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
