Tobias Zielony

Tobias Zielony, born in Wuppertal in 1973, is a photographer and filmmaker. During his studies in Wales and Leipzig, he began to explore youth subculture. In 2015 Zielony exhibited together with other artists in the German Pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia. He has carried out projects at various biennials, always dealing with youth culture; most recently, the Folkwang Museum Essen showed a retrospective of his works.
