Thomas Krüger

Thomas Krüger, born in 1959 in Buttstädt/Thuringia, has been President of the Federal Agency for Civic Education since July 2000. He has been President of the German Children’s Fund since 1995. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Federal President’s History Competition and a member of the Advisory Board for Continuing Education of the German Adult Education Association. From 1991 to 1994, he was Senator for Youth and Family in Berlin, then a member of the German Bundestag from 1994 to 1998.
