Sandy Bieneck

Sandy Bieneck, born in Wolfen in 1979, has a degree in sociology and has been running the Wolfen Women’s Center since June 2011. During her studies in sociology and psychology, she was already involved in the supporting association of the institution “Frauen helfen Frauen”. Raising public awareness of feminist, democratic and inclusive issues in a variety of event formats is a particular concern of hers. She is also a volunteer in other committees and associations, such as the Kultur- und Jugendszene e.V. (Culture and Youth Scene Association), which used the old Wolfen cinema as a projection screen for alternative culture. Sandy Bieneck is involved in various projects at the festival.
