Roman Boichuk

Roman Boichuk was born in Ukraine in 1992. Boichuk is a historian and photographer. His main job is at the city archive in Frankfurt (Oder), where he specializes in the digitization and management of collections. Away from the archive, he photographs various genres with a preference for analog techniques. In his darkroom studio, he develops films and black and white photographs by hand. His photographs have been shown at exhibitions in Frankfurt (Oder) and he has led workshops on analog photography in the surrounding area. Boichuk has lived and worked in Frankfurt (Oder) since 2018.
