Phuong Tran Minh

Phuong Tran Minh (born 1988 in Hanoi/Vietnam) grew up in Saxony-Anhalt. She is an artist whose work oscillates between performative and visual art. After studying photography, various exhibitions and poetry performances, she found her way into performance art, in which she incorporates her martial arts experience. In her pictures, she positions herself on the themes of origin and identity, but subjects such as Agent Orange, the Vietnamese diaspora and interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships also play a role in her works.
