Christoph Heckel

Christoph Heckel, born in Berlin in 1953, is an actor. After a brief stint at the theological seminary in Potsdam, he initially worked as a plumber before attending the Berlin State Drama School from 1975 to 1978. He was then a member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar for 42 years. The productions and roles that left the greatest impression on him include “Faust I” in Fritz Bennewitz’s production, “Ballhaus” directed by Herbert Olschok and Leander Haußmann’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
