Burkhard Beschow

Burkhard Beschow, born in Dresden in 1983, is an artist and exhibition organizer. He studied media art and artistic research at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. In his process-based, site-specific works, he explores change and transience as a collective and individual experience. He is particularly interested in the performativity of the abandoned space as a potential for a different experience of reality. He has been running the Berlin exhibition space Sangt Hipolyt since 2018.
