Ari Benjamin Meyers

Ari Benjamin Meyers, born 1972 in New York, is a composer and artist. In his widely presented works, he examines structures that reveal the performative, social, political, and participatory dimensions of music making. His practice includes performances for the stage and for exhibition spaces as well as three operas. A number of recent works focus on the public and civic spheres. He has had numerous solo shows and has participated in group shows, biennials, and festivals all over the world.
