GEDANKENFLIEGER

How does the future work and what is time made of? The artists Ulrike Jänichen and Wiebke Fötsch discuss these and other philosophical questions with groups of children from the Goitzscheflieger elementary school and the Campus Kids daycare center and invite them to continue asking questions together.

Who am I and how do I want to be? How does the future work and what is time made of? Sometimes it is interesting and helpful to put a question mark behind well-known and seemingly familiar terms, ideas and statements. For several years now, Ulrike Jänichen and Wiebke Fötsch have been touring elementary school as part of the Gedankenflieger project, asking philosophical questions with children and encouraging them to think. In Wolfen, they talk about empty spaces, time and space with groups of children from the GoitzscheFlieger elementary school and the Campus Kids daycare center in the immediate vicinity of the festival center. In the presentation, they report on their experiences and would like to ask further questions together with the audience. What happens when we confront the big questions of the world with children?

In cooperation with the Campus Kids daycare center and the GoitzscheFlieger free school.

“Gedankenflieger – Philosophieren mit Kindern” is a project of the literature houses in Hamburg, Leipzig and Halle in cooperation with the network of young literature houses and the Federal Agency for Civic Education.
