How to open and run spaces for arts and culture?

In cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Skopje, North Macedonia, the festival OSTEN is starting an exchange with two art initiatives; Termokiss in Prishtina, Kosovo and the Centar Jadro in Skopje, North Macedonia. Participants from both initiatives will travel to Bitterfeld-Wolfen for OSTEN UNTER STROM to share their experiences of how to open and run spaces for art and culture without a lot of money and in politically complex environments, while also involving the local population.

 

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Goethe-Institut Skopje, Nord-Mazedonien, startet das Festival OSTEN einen Austausch mit zwei Kunstinitiativen; Termokiss in Prishtina, Kosovo und dem Centar Jadro in Skopje, Nordmazedonien. Mitwirkender beider Initiativen reisen zu OSTEN UNTER STROM nach Bitterfeld-Wolfen, um ihre Erfahrungen zu teilen, wie man Räume für Kunst und Kultur ohne viel Geld und in politisch komplexen Umfeldern öffnet und betreibt und dabei auch die lokale Bevölkerung einbezieht.
